Jim qualified in 1990 after studying at Leeds University and Chancery Lane Law College, and has been a solicitor for more than 32 years.

In Jim’s earlier years, he worked as a Criminal Solicitor which involved appearance in the Crown Court as he has Higher Rights of Audience.

For the last 20 years, Jim’s work has involved the Administration of Trust and Estates, the drafting of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Attorneyship work and all associated area’s of Private Client work. For the majority of his working life, Jim has been based in Exmouth, although there have been brief short spells in Exeter and Taunton.

Jim has been noted in the Legal 500 as a specialist in his area of work.
